2024 has been an exciting year filled with outstanding projects, and at VELVET, we are especially proud to have contributed our lighting expertise to the completely revamped Telecinco News Studio. This cutting-edge space boasts state-of-the-art technology, including next-generation cameras, a Spidercam system, PTZ cameras, and an impressive 210 square meters of Alfalite LED video screens. The setup features three vertical hanging screens and a stunning 31-meter curved LED wraparound display.
Efficient LED lighting by VELVET
Lighting takes center stage in this ambitious project, and we’ve designed it entirely with our VELVET LED luminaires. The goal: create distinct lighting environments for daytime and nighttime broadcasts, giving each edition a unique visual identity.
The installation features our renowned bicolor soft panels VELVET Light series: VELVET Light 2×2, VELVET Light4 and VELVET Light 2. Mediaset also opted for our flagship RGBWCW Led fresnel KOSMOS 400 color. This fresnel light has been choosen by its color performance, powerful light output and the quality of its light beam due its 12″ borosilicate lens. KOSMOS has a motorized zoom and advanced connectivity. Its delivers precise and high-quality light control, making it a standout performer in the studio. With KOSMOS 400C the white light will always be reliable and the color temperature lighting designer chooses. There will be no deviations. It can be colored according to the needs thanks to its V5LED light engine. This versatile light can be used in a wide range of applications.
